Clean your patch image sensor. It is above the drum unit. Use a damp cloth to wipe it or static charge left on sensor window caused by a dry wipe will attract toner and cause the patch sensor to attract toner & throw the same code sooner.
If you are not a tech you might not want to try this on your own. You may damage the drum or other parts attempting to do this.

      I think he meant E000-xxxx

Which is a fuser code error.

If i'm correct, clear the error code.

      Copier>function>clear>err>ok

      Reboot.

To clear the error you must go into service mode.

Are you a tech or user?

Hi screwtape , nice to see ya. I'll bet you good money he means E20 because he can reset it with the power switch my friend. It's the patch image sensor. The sensor window is fogged with toner. As it gets worse (more toner blocking sensor) he will eventually not be able to reset the code & make copies at all.
