IR 8500 wait message

After paper jam, machine could not continue to print, wait message on screen, can hear machine "working something" but do not print out anything.

No error code.

After restart machine everything is ok.

Also this is not case with every paper jam, just sometimes.

Possible causes

Wait Screen Does Not Go Out


Faulty Main Controller / Memory
Replace Main Controller
Put A New Set Of Memory In New PCB

Also this is not case with every paper jam, just sometimes.

When the wiat message comes on, did you check the fusing temperature? COPIER>DISPLAY>ANALOG to see the functionality of the Main & Sub thermistor. Also check the connection of unit 1 with the machine. Sometimes the remaining of the jamped paper could have stuck into the connector when pushing in the unit 1 after clearing paper jamp.
