This code is defined as a fault in the Horizontal Registration Sensor or Horizontal Registration Detection Unit Shift Motor.
Are you looking in the TRG for finishers and feeders. You won't find this error in the TRG or of the 7105 service manual.

    This is a finisher error.

      E566-8002 Error Code=Finisher V1/V2

Check that 24 Volts is supplied to the Motor Driver PCB from the Fuse PCB. 24 Volts is supplied from the Fuse PCB at connector J418 pins 1,2 and 3 to the Motor Driver PCB at Connector J272 pins 1,2 and 3. If no voltage is present or is intermittently present at connector J418 the cause is a failure of the Fuse PCB.

Using a Multi-Meter Perform an OHM value check of the Fuses on the Fuse PCB. The value shown should indicate a zero resistance value. If all fuses are verfied operational then fault is in the relay mounted on the Fuse PCB.

To Resolve the E566-8002 replace the Fuse PCB: FM2-5200-000.

NOTE: If a Fuse PCB is found to have a blown fuse, it is often caused by a failure of a part (i.e. faulty motor) or shorted wire within the device. Prior to installing the new Fuse PCB verifiy no other condition exists that will disable the new Fuse PCB.
