    Canon CLC 5100 Unknown Error Code Please help

    I am getting a E905-0001 error code from the clc 5100 canon it is not in any of my manuals i'm trying to figure out what it is? and what causes it? thanks for your help

      Is it only when the copier is idle= Not Printing ???

      E905 with subcode 0001.
      =code is for the air assist fan shutter motor at the rear of the paper deck drawer. It is recommended to inspect the Motor M3, the sensor PS11 or the paper deck controller for fault and replace as necessary. FH6-1715-000 M3 Motor (Parts Catalog Figure R31/item #20)

      Also, If the copier is on a rug or un-level surface this can produce an E905. Ensure that the Deck to copier alignment gap is even according to the installation procedure booklet.
