    IR c3170 scanner settings help

    hello. i know this is simple issue but i don't know how to change the destination file that the scans are sent to. we just installed a new pc on the network and i want to designate a folder on this pc to send all the scans to. can any one tell how to add a folder to the the IR c3170. thanks.

      What you really need is a copy of the IR C3170 Sending and Facsimile Guide which comes with that model when it is sold new. It explains all that setup & features in detail. I checked the Canon US and UK site and didn't see a download for that user manual or I would have posted a link here for you.

          Setup a shared folder on the PC and browse out from the machine.

          Address book settings>register new address>file>protocol-windows SMB> and browse out.
