    IR6570

    IN MY CANON IR6570 Primary charging wire cleaning unit get strucked we i makes copies around 3000,
    then in A4 copy some lines will be missing inthe copy what should i do, wen i removes and clean the unit it is woring for 2000 to 3000 copies normaly with out any problem , plz help me

    Replace the corona assembly,,,, problem solved!

      no need to replace the whole assy, just restring the wires
      If sometimes you feel a little useless, offended and depressed always remember that you were once the fastest and most victorious sperm of hundreds of millions!

        Both of the above have valid points: If it has <1,000,000 copies AND you are a tech, restringing coronas, cleaning the assembly and grid, and also replacing the wire clearners may fix your problem. Otherwise replacing the assembly would be the best bet.

          Wires are not the issue, the motor that drives the wiper is stalling out, just replace the assembly and be done with it, problem solved...

              sry, if i misunderstood
              i second: if the unit has 1 million or more on it, replace the whole assy
              if not, restring the wires and lube the thread of the wipers

                Replace if its due.

                For the stalling you can check the guide pin that rides on the shaft screw. It sometimes wears out and doesn't ride smooth on the screw shaft causing it to stalled. Check out the shot of the shaft and pin.

                The motor is a good point also.

                  Thats the best advice. That part (#13 in screwtapes pic) the guidepin riding on the wormgear often wears out. ----Blaze
