    Canon Ir5000 Never Warms Up

Fuser never lights but no error code. Don't think relay is getting voltage to turn on. (ac is present at relay.) Weird thing is no error message. Main thermistor has been replaced. Not sure what it could be?

I would keep it simple, and check the rear of the Fixing Bed and made sure there is no paper lodged in on connector in the rear or that one of the connectors is not broken. That would stop the error reporting process and/or powering of your lamps. You will usually get an infinite "Waiting to Print" or "Reservation Copies Can Be.." message on the panel. Good luck. Let me know what you find.
The glass maybe half full, but less is more...
Printer + Fax + Copier = Jack Of Many Trades,
    but Master Of None
Color Copier = Not A Color Printer
InkJet MFP = Not A Fax Machine
    B/W Copier = Not A Press
Finisher = Deal Closer (salesman, not accessory)
Copier Tech = Admin's Stress Ball (Scapegoat)

If the rear plate is ok, you can check under release knob from the front side have a one micro switch near the fixing unit. Good luck
