The 6012 drum unit has a fuse link inside it,with a connector on the machine. At 30k you must change the drum. The 7130 drum unit does not have the fuse and the machine does not have a connector. In short, you can install a 6012 drum unit into a 7130 and it will work(doesnt look for fuse),but you can't put a 7130 drum unit into a 6012/6412 -
The NP-6012 drum is not interchangable with the NP-7130.

Guest repliedNP7130 drum
Hi, everyone
I bought an NP6012 (B1-1337A003AA) drum which the seller indicated that it is compatible with NP7130 copier. I put it in and all I got is a near blank copy. Do anyone know if I got the wrong drum? If I do, what drum should I get? There is nothing wrong with the machine as my old drum still work but it has vertical streaks.
There is another drum ( 1337A002AA ) specially marked for NP7130. Should I get that drum instead? However, a lot of seller's web site indicated that the B1 drum fits NP7130 as well. Are they all wrong? I am puzzled.

exit switch flag
The most common cause for jam indication with no paper is the exit switch actuator being broken off or stuck. It's available from a wide variety of parts sources. You say you're not a tech...Look for a pointy little black piece of plastic that sticks down into the paper path where the paper exits. You may find broken pieces, or just a place where it used to fit. There are (3) of these switch actuators on the 7130. If its not the exit, it may be one of the others.Leave a comment:

NP 7130's
Hello Everyone,
I am new here, this seems like a great group. I hope I can avoid being a complete noob.
I am new at Head Start program and we have about 5 of these NP7130 all with copy counts less than 50K and all have problems. The most common of these is a paper jam indicator light being lit.
In short, Head Start does not have a lot of money, but we could really use these machines. Could someone point me towards the best resources to get info? If anyone is near Memphis TN, I am sure we could work something out. I am not a copier technician, but I can usually read a manual, ( and I have machines to learn on HA!) but I am not sure the best place to buy
Anyway, glad to have found you you guys.
Tim
