Canon iR5000 set to metric instead of inches

I have a Canon iR5000 that is set to metric settings. The customer would like it changed to inches. Tray 1 currently A3, Tray 2 currently A4. Weird thing is that Tray 3 is set up to LTRR (inches format) and is the default tray. This printer is set up on the server and on the server the settings are displayed in 'inches'. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Did U get an Answer yet.

The answer is you have to check to make sure that the paper is secured into the drawer. If not you have to go Additional functions 2 8 at the same time additional funtions. go to copier, function, cst,go to the drawer and i think number 18 is letter,19,20,21 one of them is legal.

To make sure I understand you correctly. You press Addl functions and the numbers 2 8 simultaneously at the normal display window. This is not done from a bootup like when your doing a firmware update correct? Thanks again.

          Hey

If you go to the machine then press additional function, then the numbers 2and 8 at the same time then press additional functions you will get in the service screen. Then you press copier then go to option then CST. Then you will see an arrow at the bottom press the arrow to the second page. You will see Cassette 1,2,4. The third is a universal tray. To put the first two trays to LTR the numbers must be on 18. The 4th tray if you want legal the number is 21 and if you want 11by17 the number is 16.If you have any problems give me a call.
