i have a customer with a ir 1022a
works fine through glass but through adf is blurry and wont pick up red
have cleaned all glass and optics thought it might be condensation but its not
any ideas thanks

the position of platen guide is correct ?!

yes platten guide in right possition and machine copies fine when copying from platten problem only through adf reading glass

Hi Mate,
Is the ADF sitting nice and flat on the platen??ie no gaps at the front.

adf sat about 1mm high at rear swapped over hinges now all ok
