Canon NP3050 how to replace drum?

Hi, I am working with an old (-92) NP 3050 and all documents are missing. I need to do some adjustments and replace drumblade and clean everything.
The problem is that I cant get the drum out! Obviously I need some sort of command/funktion key or whatever to retract the tonerscrew (or what it's called...). I would really appreciate if someone could help me.

    Thanx.

    Np 3050 drum removal

    Hi Mate,
You have to release the developer assembly in service mode.To get into service mode open the front door and insert a straightened paper clip in the small hole just on the right side near the door strap (if I remember clearly,it has been a while),oh also leave the power on when you do this and if you get it right a small $ sign will appear on the display .Once the dollar sign appears ok,shut the front door and type *4*(if you can cheat the door switch by inserting a key or similar item then it will be better because you can see if the developer moves away).Select the F006 DEV-REL screen by using the copy density key then press * to execute. The dev release solenoid operates and the dev moves to the right and stops.
Now the drum can be pulled out.Press reset button to get out of service mode.

These drums are only good for 200k. If your not cleaning, and close to that 200k just replace it. These drum units come as an assembly so they're quick & easy to change, assuming you can get one.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
