    Canon IR6000 problem

    HI!

I can't change the fixing temperature on one of our IR6000. The temperature is 203 C

Every morning, the copier indicate E001 error, but the temperature under 230 C, always stop 203 C

    Can you help me?

    Thanks.

Are the thermistors clean, in good condition, new, and contacting the roller evenly-flatly? Is it the correct part # upper & lower fuser rollers? That's where I would start.

Adjusting fuser temperature typically is just masking some other problem, even if it helps (which it usually doesn't).
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      e-001

      replace th2# fg5-8812-040.
these have been known to cause this problem.
      good luck.

Also check the connector board under the lower fuser roller it can cause fuser errors also.. spray out all connector and check for paper in the fuser connector the one on the back frame also make sure there is good connection between both halfs of the connectors
