IR8500 Freeze

Hi all
My Ir8500 is freezing, when I turn on the copies, the progress bar reaches the end, but it still on wait...

I reinstall the firmware and scan HD (press 1 and 9), it dosen't work.

Pls help.

This seems to be common lately, Here are a few things to try.
1. Reseat the boot rom and DRAMM chips. Try swapping with a known good one.
2. Check the voltages on the All night/All day power supply, Notorious for effing up.
3.Even though you have reloaded and scanned the HD it can still be bad.
4 King James Version.

Also, there is a case known to Canon, involves HDD of Fujitsu make with model no. MPG3102AT. Find out if yours falls under this category, they are easily affected by humidity and high temperatures.
