You may need to go to Fax mode to see if there's an error code. It may begin with "##". [eg: ##330] If not, go into Service Mode,
    - "Data Registration" key
    - "#" key
    - under the soft switch settings (first option), change the very last bit [to the right] of "SW01" to "1". This will turn on the error display. If it's already on and there's no code, then you got problems. Probably the mylar sheet that protects the HV contacts in the processing drawer is falling apart and shorting to the frame. Do-able job but a pain.

I had same problem. Most of the time it was Fixing Assy. Rarely I changed DC power supply PCB .
      Let us know.

Unplug the network or USB connection to the copier.
        Reset the print job.
If the red light goes out, clear all the print queues on each workstation or server.
More and more douments are being created in European format.
Metric jobs won't run on an inch machine.
Last to do is to find the document that caused the hang-up and do a print preview and check the size settings.

Very, very common. No matter what brand of machine.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Thanks Fellas...I have to take off for my calls for the day...I do have a code now #0322...I am going to guess that points to the fuser but I will look into it when I get back unless someone has a manual. Thanks again
