using the USB printing of iR1600

the online manual of my copier (Canon iR1600) say i can print directly using USB support. I opened a cover behind my iR1600 and saw a USB Plug and connected it to my computer, downloaded the pcl5e drivers but when iam installing and am asked to connect the device to usb and power on, it doesn't identify the copier (when i connect the usb cable to my computer, it identifies a new hardware "CanonCFYSA")but the driver setup doesn't see the copier keeps telling me "cannot recognize the USB connection". even when i continue with the windows new hardware "Canon CFYSA" installation, it doesn't find the drivers in the pcl5e driver folder.

Dont know what to do, PLEASE HELP

NB. the Copier automaticaly reset every time i connect the USB cable to my computer.

It needs the optional Printer Board-N1 installed in order to utilise the USB/Parallel printing ability. They do not come with printing support as standard.
No, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.
