Behind the toner hopper there is a scanner drive drum with two set screws. One or both of the set screws can back out, intermittently hitting a black plastic shroud that covers the scanner drive and keeps the toner out of it.
There is an identical scanner drive drum on the back but it is not shrouded, so the set screw doesn't have anything nearby to hit.

A dry scanner rail can produce some unexpected resuts also. Such as: Noise as scanner vibrates, slams into left frame. "99" displayed, logic lockup. E202 stored, not displayed. Possible erratic registration, thick black line at lead edge. Blurry copies ~850% enlarged in feed direction only. Misfeeds (jam code 0700).
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
