Check the web sensor. Is it above the cleaner web? Probaly, it's out of position. There isn't reset for it.

I have switched the sensor for one that i know is good, and I still have the same code. I don't see any sensor above the web, only two in the front end. one seems to be for the upper limit and one for the lower limit. Are those, the sensor youre talking abuot.
Thanks for you help. I'm new with canon machines and i dont have any manual.

If the Web is still ok my guess is that the Counter needs to be reset.
Here is how to do it from memory.

Press *(Additional Functions key) then 2 and 8 together and then * again. This should open Service mode for you.
Now press COPIER then COUNTER then MISC then WEB and then press the (C) key which will clear the counter.

Once you have cleared the counter you can rest the error in Service Mode:

Press FUNCTION then CLR then ERR then ok (on the bottom right hand corner) Now switch off the Machine power and then switch it back on.
        It should be ok now,

        Andy

          Good point.
All iR5000 series machines(and most of the recent models) require you to clear errors BEFORE you cycle the machine.
No good swapping sensors in and out if you don't bother to clear the error beforehand.
