you need service support tool and the syatem software to load the required items onto the hard drive if you dont have them you are wasting your time

you could if you had another working machine clone the hard drive using norton ghost ion a pc with caddy

Why did you feel it necessary to repost your original message after 2 hours?

I could really post a comment here but I'll restrain myself.

            To the previous message responders

Why don't you lighten up and just help the dude if you can. He's probably just nervous and anxious to fix his problem. Ever happen to you?

If you do not have the desire to help , then shut up , and stop hurting others feelings, may be you know how to solve this issue, but you are not the only one who can

I have said nothing to either offend you or to hurt your feelings and therefore have nothing to apologize for.

                      System Software

Service support tool and system software usually come together and are originally downloaded as an .iso file to be burned to a disk. Saw that someone is setting you up with these two items. Installation from that point is really no big deal, and if you get hung up myself or one of these other guys should be able to clear things up...

                          well said alex

as for manuals4you i see some of my post have been removed must have friends in high places i think

all manuals are copyrighted no matter what the machine so its ok to break the law but not post comments on members who do nothing but make rude comments and any memeber who is not american or english because in his words thats why we cant take drinks on planes anymore

waits for this post to be removed

I've never asked anybody to remove posts or edit them, so don't start accusing me of things I haven't done.
What rude comments have I made? What that a guy who posts for the first time and asks for a free manual, but doesn't have the courtesy to say 'please' .
And as far as copywrite is concerned, some manufacturers enforce them and others don't, and others don't care. I have customer's who are ASP's and can't get manuals from the manufacturer's they represent or the cost is prohibitive. And if it wasn't for me and sites like mine, the independent technician would surely find it most difficult to get manuals.
