Re: designjet t2300 22.1.10 error
When it is not possible to perform a firmware upgrade using the normal procedures (for instance, in case of a System Error and the Embedded Web Server is unavailable), it is possible to perform an emergency firmware upgrade using a USB flash drive. Follow the next steps:
1. Copy a valid FMW firmware file onto a USB flash drive. Remove all other contents in the flash drive.
2. Turn off the product.
3. Connect the USB flash drive to the USB host port on the formatter.
4. Turn on the product and follow the instruction on the Touch Control Panel.
Firmware upgrade with USB flash drive
The USB host port can be used to upgrade the product's firmware of the product using a standard USB flash drive. In this case only a valid .FMW firmware package may be stored in the drive, and it must be in the root folder, not in a sub folder. Connect the USB flash drive and follow the instructions on the Touch Control Panel. The USB host port can be used at any time, regardless of what procedure the printer is performing.
I'd use FAT32 for the file system for the USB stick.Comment

Re: designjet t2300 22.1.10 error
It's unlikely a firmware update will resolve this issue. While it's a good idea to update the firmware, you can always look at the list of enhancements/fixes for a firmware release to see if it addresses a specific problem.
Did you replace the left ISS?
Are you absolutely certain you have the ISS wiring harness and the data harness in the correct locations on the engine PCA? If they are reversed it will generate this error. The cable with a blue sticker on the connector goes into the blue connector on the board, and the cable tie on that connector is there to prevent you from plugging the ISS cable into the wrong socket.
I've asked my contact at HP if there's anything else to check. If I find out something not covered here, I'll let you know.

Re: designjet t2300 22.1.10 error
Test it with the ink cartridges removed. Was there any evidence of an ink leak?

Re: designjet t2300 22.1.10 error
Then I would replace the Engine PCA. If you have another T2300 to test with, try swapping the Engine PCA and see if the problem follows the part.

Re: designjet t2300 22.1.10 error
I should install only the engine pca or with formatter and hdd, because display shows 59. error.Comment

Re: designjet t2300 22.1.10 error
I'm not sure I understand your question. Yes, you have to install the formatter; the printer can't run without it.

Re: designjet t2300 22.1.10 error
If you put the suspect part in another printer, and got the same error, then that part is defective. It's as simple as that.

Re: designjet t2300 22.1.10 error
Sorry, I should have read back to refresh my memory on this. I know you can't take the hard drive from one printer and put it in another (or so the manual says,) so I would keep the formatter with the test printer, but swap the EE box. I thought it was the main PCA/EE box we were trying to rule out. I don't think the issue would be with the formatter.
So in other words, swap the EE box, but use the same formatter in the other printer.
I'll check and see if there's anything else about this I can find.
