Yes I did, after all the time and headaches, I just replaced the whole darn feeder and it worked great! Can get those rather cheap now from wholesaler, 50 or so, then you have a couple of parts machines(fusers and formatters and all. Really wanted to get to the bottom of it, why the code? Guess won't find out, take the 10-15 minutes and just replace the feeder and be done with it, march on to other battles!

You say you had a 59.05.50 error back in this thread on a m525. Did you discover the problem? Installed paper feed solenoid and now I'm getting that error...

Retraced my steps, connectors, now I'm at a loss. I tried component test and no main motor. FUSER and scanner, solenoid all working.

I would have sworn that wouldn't work in this case--but it did work a couple of times for me on other machines. Hmmm. Good deal.

If you have oem toners, and the registration is still off, do a cold reset. If that doesn't work (it probably won't), replace the transfer belt assembly.

Replaced all the covers on the 575, then it threw a 30.30 error, document feed sensor, done with it! We replaced the feeder. Live and learn. The M575, has oem toners and still registration off. Black is dead on, colors are just off.

How do you know it's black that is fine? LOL

You're probably using generic ctgs. Those cause the colors to be off.

Cable harness, replaced and it worked like a champ, put it all back together, now has 59.05.50 error,(main motor error) this machine is a copier from hell!!

And on the HP subject, just had a HP MFP C575, colors are off registration(black is fine), could not find anything in the service troubleshooting manual on how to run a sim for that problem.

    Anybody know how to?

    Thanks.

We re-solder these cables all the time. They break from frequent opening and closing of the cover.

Replace the harness cables. These cables break because of all the open and closing of the ADF lid. One of the lead in the ribbon harness is most likely broken. Had similar problems with ADF issues on several HP and Canon models.

Replaced formatter, still same, replaced DCC like Phil B. suggested, still "close top cover" Ran new firmware, still no change. Any more suggestions?

Are you saying you replaced the wiring harness from the doc feeder to the machine?

I've seen those go bad a lot, and it's not always detectable with a meter.
