Did you fit an OEM HP fuser or was it a reman fuser, the phrase "return fuser" leads me to think the latter. This may be the problem

A number of sub assembly providers give a core refund either way. It always pays to re turn the old assembly.

I was an OEM brand new. I checked the fuser I was about to return ( the old and broken one) for an inline fuse I did not see one.

I'm going to give this thread a bump. We are experiencing the same issue, there is no fuser reset option on the menu as explained by HP that showing up on the menu. Anyone else run into this issue and have any fixes?

Copiertec, in my case it never reset and the customer has been running it like since I posted originally. I did check the harness on the return fuser for the tale tale bump of a pico fuse, I did not see one. Let us know if you found anything new.

Print out the parts life list page and you should see that it has reset itself.

Pretty sure there's a little fuse that resets it when you install a new fuser.

I did update the firmware, unfortunately there is no change. I could not find anything on the web GUI.. Thanks for the tips regardless.

Like the title says. I replaced the fuser unit for a customer and the reset option is not showing up where it is supposed to be. Admin-----Manage Supplies-----Reset Supplies-----New Fuser Kit. New Fuser kit does not show up. Any Where else I can reset this? I looked in the service section to no avail.

If the procedure is correct, you probably have a software problem, try to reset and update the firmware. Have you tried on the web page?
