    Re: HP 3015 Clicking noise

I try to post a solution for any posts when resolved.
THe clicking noise was the cassette 2 pickup solenoid.
Spent alot of time on disassembly/reassembly

Cassettes and lift mech can be cracked. This makes a popping sound. Happens more so with a full tray of paper.

    HP 3015 Clicking noise

First time seeing this model, so looking for input.
Printer is making a clicking noise when feeding from cassette. MP tray does not make any noise.
Does not jam. Just the noise that sounds like a solenoid. I do have a manual but before I dig in and waste time thought maybe this was a common issue.
    150k prints.
Seems to be paper feed assembly but not sure. No jams but noise is loud
Working...
