I have an enterprise E82550 mono printer that had a HDD fail. I replaced it with OEM. The message came up saying missing boot program. I formatted the drive, loaded Firmware and let it boot up. It is stuck at "updating hardware" and the timer just keeps counting. HP support tech had no clue what to do next. Do I have a faill HDD? I did install a formatter board but, that seemed to make it worse. Any help is appreciated!
