yes it did. thank you very much. as i posted on the other thread, i was able to delete the border line at he trailing edge. still have an issue with the reducing it, but customer is happy, so that's what matters most.

    have a very nice weekend.

  • HP laser jet enterprise MFP M527 adf copies are slightly reduced even after calibrati

    Hello, good morning.
this machine has several CQ issues. the main one is the copies are reduced by 4 mm top to bottom but not side to side. so they get a border line across the bottom of copies thru the adf. i performed the admin adf calibration with no change.

i also found a strange CQ defect on copies from the glass and discovered that the scanner CIS under the glass is wobbling around a bit. not the main carriage but the fiber optic array bar. i can replace the scanner unit assembly, which is the entire glass and scanner unit, but before i order it, i am wondering if the vertically reduced image is a speed issue with the adf?

i cant find any adjustment setting in the service or troubleshooting manuals.
i wonder if the "restore factory-set defaults" reset might resolve this without loosing their network settings??

can anyone recall if there is any adjustment for this?
the firmware version is 2308214 000905 and the datecode is 20170602. the small version available now is 2309088_001494.

any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

    have a very nice day
