Where to get HP parts

The first time I did it it took 90 minutes, but I was reading the manual as I was going along. The slow part is waiting for it to boot up, and to align the print heads. Nothing to do but stand there and stare at it.

Be sure to clean up all the shredded bits of the old belt, especially in the timing pulleys. That can change your belt tension and slow your carriage drive. =^..^=

Yep I agree. If you never did it quote 2 hours so you can be slow and careful.

Could you (or anyone who's knowledgeable) tell me how long does it take for someone who's got some experience with copiers but next-to-none in this kind of machines to replace a worn carriage belt?

The manual seems quite easy to follow, and I see no problem doing it, but I need to have an idea on how long it takes to do the replacing in order to give a quote to the customer.

Hello there guys and gals.

I'd like to get some advise on where to get HP parts - is HP the sole supplier?
Right now, I'm interested in getting info on HP DesignJet 5000, but in the future I might need some HP LaserJet 2200 parts too - and probably others.
