I replaced the laser unit on this hp LaserJet 1200 which was working but noisey. I put it back together and now the orange lower left led is blinking. The motor goes thru rotation. Secondary code is "General Fatal Error" all lights blink. All sensor flags are fine, paper, toner all is well Not sure wtf I did. any help is appreciated!

New laser or used (maybe good)? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Why did you replace laser unit? This laser unit has always problem with noisy polygon motor. Few times I try dissembling polygon motor mirror and put some oil in there but no successful for longer time. Only replace laser unit or polygon motor. You should check all connections, laser tape and Sensor Synchronization. I ve got this error when a I lost drum unit ground pin
I ve got fever: My English isn`t good, so please please forgive me any mistakes.
