[Error Code] Designjet 4000 . Error 02.1:10

The service manual says :

- Check that trailing cable is not dameged
- Check that trailing cable is correctly connected to the carriage PCA, interconnect PCA and to the Gamut PCI PCA
- Replace the carriage PCA
-IF the system error continues, replace the gamut PCI PCA


The question is...
How can i check that the trailing cable is not dameged?
How can i know which is the eletronic card to replace, Carriage PCA or Gamut PCI?
