no feed motors at print machine initializes but adf doesnt do its thing then gives error code. any suggestions?

Is your customer willing to pay 2 hours labor minimum to troubleshoot that machine? If not, carry to nearest dumpster and throw it in.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Coke in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!". -

It has been awhile since I worked on that box Thank God, but I would suspect the HD. I dont think the ADf will work without it. and it could be flaking out. You could try and reformat then load firmware but all that is a pain in the butt. The formatter should just plug n play.IzzyComment
