Definetly the fuser; Quality or lack of Sleeve lubricate; Swing plate seperate issueLeave a comment:

Did you try printing a half page test? (Stop the printer when the paper is under the toner cartridge.) If the image is blurry when you perform this test, it is not fuser related.Leave a comment:

Re: 4350 blurry - Worn swing plate?
Gidday,
We replace about 4-5 swing plate assemblies every week, and it is not too hard when you get used to it. Like anything else really.
4250 we can usually replace only the black gear at the first Maintenance interval, followed by a swing plate at the following Maintenance interval (about 400 - 450k pages). 4350 however, we find it better to replace the swing plate at every Maintenance interval (225k pages)
Blurring like your sample suggests a lagging or binding Fixing film. Was the Fuser new OEM or rebuilt?
A binding fixing film will cause this type of blurring.
If the printer has done over 250k pages, replace the swing plate assembly for future reliability and quieter running.
Good LuckLeave a comment:

Re: 4350 blurry - Worn swing plate?
I don't like think the swing plate would cause the blurring, but it will cause a noise.
Some people cheat and just replace the black gear, if that works great, but if the noise is still there you have to replace the whole swing plate.
It's incredibly difficult to do. The machine has three hundred screws going into the machine...and 3 going inside-out. Guess which ones?Leave a comment:

4350 blurry - Worn swing plate?
Hi-
I got a 4350 that I put in a fuser. 2K later the quality was blurry, see attached. I put in another fuser. 2 days later its grinding. I see now that the black gear on the swing assembly is really worn. Could a worn swing plate cause quality problems?
