I don't know this model very well, but it seems to me you have been using that !*&%#$-refill toners (or waste toner maybe).

Wow smart printer its telling him the refill cartridge is junk.


I dread the day when the printer is smarter then me. It probably all ready happen I'm just to dumd to see it.

I don't remember how but HP printers can have the front panel reprogramed to any thing you want to have it say.
This has resulted in a few techs being fired.

You can do this with telnet and PJL commands. We could program aab1s machine to say one of the following:

Waste Toner In Use.
Ready. Add Kool-Aid.
That Doesn't Go There.
Praying For a Power Surge.
I Coulda Been a Canon.
Help Me!!
