    HP LJ 4250 Blank display

    after up grade firmware display (control pannel )keep say cycling power . when It power off & on , display is blank. engin is ok.
    but I tried up grade firmware again
    can't upgrade fimeware . do i have to replace Flash memory card (firmware)? or Is there any way?

    please help any expert man.....

    What firmware did you install? I think you may have installed the wrong one.

        Above is a link to the instructions, but I don't think you can install it with a blank display. I think the only thing you can do is replace the entire formatter. Use an OEM board if you are not sure of the vendor. If you accidently install a formatter from a 4240 it will downgrade the machine to 4240 speeds. Installing a 4350 board will bring the machine to 4240 level as well. OEM boards have been wiped clean so you can install it in any of those three without problems.
