[CQ] HP Color Laserjet 5550 copy Quality Issue

    Greetings

i have issue with ( HP Color Laserjet 5550) see attachments and and please gimme a clue what possibly it could be?

1:black Cartride checked on other pritner and it's good,no issue,
2:Bias and transfer board checked,no issue.
3:checked for any loose connection on board, even reconnect them, but still the same,

it's nothing wrong when you print any internal reports.see attachments, black image quality is perfect but when it comes to print something from PC
(Specially Black, something from Ms word)its like third image you can see in attachment,

bashing my head against the wall still trying to fix this beast but no lcuk yet,any help is appreciated, spouse if it was something bad with Black laser unit it wouldn't print internal reports as good as they look?

    thanks in advance!

I agree. If it is printing config page good it is not necessarily hardware. Sounds like a communication problem to me.

    I would:

    1. Download latest driver
    2. Update firmware
    3. Make sure MS Word has had all of it's updates.

Is this connected via USB or Network?

If it is Network, try USB.
If it is USB, try connecting to a different PC.

Last of all try new formatter. Maybe it's the connectors in the formatter. Try the other stuff first though, because it only costs time.

I had a similar issue like this during duplexing. Come to find out the machine's trays were not properly set. Do not know if this would add value to any future troubleshooting of an issue like this but thought I would give my 2 cents.

No,You right about that it looks like that because the scanner i just scanned those screenshots on was in terrible condition, otherwise you can't even tell there is any PQ issues with this printer,

              Thanks for tweak though!
