CP3505 right slide lock / lever

Every time I do this job, I have to take it apart at least twice. I follow all the directions, line up all the gears, but when I put it back together, I get the attached diagnostics sheet. No colors and black is off and on. Then I take it apart, run through the gear alignment directions again, and then it works. I don't know what step I'm missing or where I'm screwing up.

    Hi,
totally appreciate how many years have passed since you posted this but did you resolve it? I have the same problem after the same fix.

    Thanks.

      You need a new ITB.

Thanks for the reply much appreciated.

After two weeks of leaving the printer alone after it drove me mad I stripped it a third time today and noticed that when you set the MDA up before re-insertion the black toner cog is on the edge of wanting to spring-off the needed position . Whilst trying to fit the MDA again today I noticed it only takes a jolt to cause the cog to spin a little and be misaligned. Finally overcoming this I got it to go on without that little cog misaligning. Gargh but its sorted now.
