[Misc] fs 1128 MFP sent fax has grainy background

I have a customer with a fs 1128 mfp that has a grainy background only when sending fax out.
Have updated firmware ran u600 and reinitialized the fax card
Resolution is default at 200X100
Attached sample portion of fax output.

Is the fax line a Voip? Is it happening to every recipient or just one? Make sure the ECM is on in Sim 631; if, it is and your still experiencing problems, sim 631 reduce communication speed to V. 17(14400bps). If problem still exists sim U630 change tx to 500 and rx to500.

I would turn on confirmation pages to see what the machine thinks the faxed image looked like. That will narrow it down to a line or machine problem, since all other scanned functions seem to be good.

Thanks I will give it a try.

look at the original you are scanning closely. does it itself has background. sometimes the document printed has background and when faxing it amplifies the background.
set the resolution to 200x200 and original to text only just to see if results are diffrent. if all fails, swap out fax pwb.

no back ground all on plain white paper. after further testing look to be a bad fax card.

Did you do as tmaged suggested, looking at the image on the confirmation report?

yes have tried all above suggestions. And verified the line is not voip.
