    FOIP

Looking for some info on what others are doing to get away from analog fax lines. what seams to work the best when going FOIP? I've been researching for a couple weeks on options to offer customers to get away from analog fax lines. Is there an option that works well for small business offices like 1-5 people in an office and also up to 20 people in an office. Anything above that usually has their own IT and I don't have wory about their setups. Thanks

most machines require special settings for VOIP... some don't work reliably even with those settings...

what machines are you talking about?

For the most part, FOIP is a bit fat FLOP.

Never had a good experience with it.

Not sure what FOIP is? For VOIP there is a bulletin for setting this up.

Phil B. nailed this mess, spot on.

Salesmen promised voip " perfect performance " at all hospitals in Colorado networks.

Stinking dog shit problems, no I.T. support from internal EXPERTS at all.

The hospital I.T. people were EXPERT at ducking requests, and going home by 2pm.

We fine tuned the Konica crap e-series as best we could.

Analog lines for analog fax design makes the best solution.

Agree but personally don't see e-series as bad machines at all. In fact I even think they're great.

We are installing GoldFax - Fax from email or any application - Receive faxes in email or folders but that's the IT side of the house so I can't speak to it other than my company stands behind it.
