    [Misc] Kyocera M6030 Printing lines

I had yellow and magenta vertical lines printing on the right hand size of each color print.

So the geek in me decided to open it all up, clean up all the drums and reassemble it all together.

Now its printing just lines . photos attached

One of the developing units is arcing to the drum, via the developer spacers. The trick is determining which ones, without replacing all 8 units (drum and developing unit of whatever color).

If the bars do not show on black images, you can rule out the black drum & developing units.

Were I to take a wag, I'd say yellow is your color.

Keep in mind that all the color drums are the same part, so you can use your new drum as C, M, or Y. But the developing units are different, specifically C, M, or Y.

      Does that make sense? =^..^=

      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.

When I've seen this issue on a wide variety of color Kyocera engines, the color that has the smallest, narrowest, or lightest color bars is usually the one causing the issue ... but not every time. Call it an educated hunch. =^..^=

            i agree with blackcat.
Seen several cases and mostly coming from yellow DV/DK
i think it would duplicated by the belt.
Please remember that yellow will be the first color which would transfered.
            (count clockwise turning from belt)
If you print in bk, no colordrive for color DVs and no maincharging for color DKs
