      The 6000 is a fuser code. You will need to replace the fuser unit.

              the eaisest way to fix a 6000 error code is to replace the fuser if its under warenty or if you have a old fuser unit with a good thermostat its not hard to replace or you can reset the thermostat by taking it out and slaming it on a hard serfice to pop the thermostat. It's not recomended but it does work. Just don't let the manufacture know you did it.
