    ECOSYS P2040dn showing Call Service 2000:0006256

    Got from a wholesaler an almost brand new ECOSYS P2040dn. Machine is booting up normal but when picking up paper making a shaving noise and showing Call Service 2000:0006256.
    I have the Tech Manual but cannot find this code in it.
    Any help please?

    2000:0006256
    You can disregard the part after the colon, that's the copy count.

    C2000 is a main motor error (not rotating). Something is seized and won't allow it to turn, possibly the fuser, possibly the drum, possibly the developing unit.
    If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

      I agree, pull out all drums & devs & check they rotate by hand.
