    FYI KM 8030/6030 Exit Jams

I have had 2 8030s in the last month give jamming issues here is the cause...Mainly jam 81. The pic is terrible maybe I can explain

The metal plate that is circled has a small piece of sponge I guess for noise reduction, well the sponge deteriorates after time but the glue doesn't.

The solenoid isn't strong enough to open the exit guide.
Clean the glue off problem solved.

    Hope this helps!

I'll keep my eyes open for that one. Thanks Raymondd.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There is a QA on this, they changed the material the pad is made from, I've changed the pads on all my machines.
