There is not a sim to reset total counter. You can try sim 20 to initialize backup ram. Not sure if this resets total counter but it will reset everything else to original settings. Make sure you print out a maint report prior so you can re-enter all other data. Also you will need to run 157 and 411. Anyone else know?

Now for what earthly reason would you need to reset the total counter? (which is akin to turning back the odometer on a car)

try changing the country back to Japan then back to Europe after doing the all memory clear. This fix also cures the static mechanical meter syndrome which first appears to be an engine board fault on a KM2530!

            KM-1820 counter reset.

So easy, you must replace the engine pcb assy' EEPROM ( 24LC 32MB )this action reset all the counters, but you will lose the serial number.

            Bye!
