    FS-4200, no wake up

FS-4200, not waking up after print job has been sent to it from the network. When any of the buttons on the printer are being touched the machine wakes up and start to print out the previously sent job in the pipeline.

I have no experience with Kyocera in general and this printer specially. Any hints please?

    Thanks

It's not firmware related. The problem on newer series comes from new energy savings regulations, where they have to maximize power savings by maxing it out in factory settings. On FS-4200DN you need to go to Menu->Common settings->Timer settings (it will reguire credentials Admin/Admin) -> Sleep level set, and switch it from Energy Saver to Quick Recovery Mode.

I think SLEEP must be set for more than 1 min or you will have to press a key to wake up.
