XC4150 Printing in Monochrome only.

    XC4150 Printing in Monochrome only.

    The customer called us because it was receiving print jobs, cancelling them, and not printing them. Also it was printing in Monochrome only. I updated the firmware which took got it printing again, but it didn't fix the monochrome issue. When I say Monochrome I mean it's literally substituting shades of gray for the colors. Not just missing. I checked to make sure print black only mode was turned off. I even tried turning it on and off again. I also reset to factory settings with no change. The printer has toner for all colors. I reseated the imagining drum unit, and toner collection unit. I'm at a loss as to why it's doing this. I'm attaching the config sheets too, to see if I missed anything.

      uninstall and reinstall the print driver from lexmark, don't rely on the windows printer installer.

          Print B&W -=OFF what about in the DRIVER or the PAGE SETUP on the file

              I had forgotten all about this. My apologies.
              As it turns off the store was limited to only so many color pages per month, by something done some odd way, as I'd done a full reset on the printer and it still printed in monochrome. When the new month rolled around, their color allowance was reset and the ticket was closed.
