[Misc] Fax option disappears Model Lexmark MX3250

I've gotten 3 mfps all the same model in 3 different locations that have the fax feature missing on the display. Machine can still receive faxes and can send a fax if you go in through the favorites bar. I'm able to go in to options and adjust settings for the fax feature. The icon is just missing. The "show fax icon" switch is turned on.
I can find on other forums that updating the firmware is suppose to help but that has been futile.

you can go into the copier and tell it which icons to show on the home screen. i have seen it on rare occasion that you have to go in uncheck the box and the check it again for it to come back. once you uncheck it then save it. then go back and add the check again. no idea why it happens, but it has happened to me before on other lexmarks.

Lexmark is aware of the problem. Our Lexmark rep sent my team updated firmware that will be coming out in May or June I believe for public release.
Just hang in there.
