I would appreciate some help on this. One of our accounts has a couple of these. This one has a 931.01 service printhead error. When the printer is rebooted the error comes back. What can I do to help my customer?

Also what I ALWAYS do with Lexmark printheads.........take a marker and mark where the current printhead sits BEFORE removing it. Put the new printhead back in the same spot and your alignment should be fine.Comment

Thank you for all the responses. Is it easy to get the print head out, and is print head another name for the laser unit?Comment

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

30-45 minutes at most. It's not that hard. Make sure you have some side cutters (or flush cutters) and a spare small nylon zip tie (if you care to leave it how you found it).Comment
