    [CQ] Ghost Images

Lexmark T652 reprinting same images on prints. Usually first few prints out. Originally had a fuser error which I replaced the fuser MK and the power supply (root cause). Ghosting problem has been happening ever since. Tried different fuser and power supply but still does the same thing. Any thought?

What is the life count on the image unit?

@60% life remaining on the toner cartridge (IU). This particular printer uses the MICR toner cartridge, but was not an issue before that parts were replaced.

On this printer the toner is all in one. They are using this as a check printer so it has a MICR cartridge. It's the same cartridge that was in there before the problems started.

Yes, those come in the fuser MK.

I have worked on a lot of the T652's back in the day. Never cared for 'em.

I would start by turning the power off before the page reaches the fuser. I suspect that it's a bad cartridge. But lets first rule out the fuser.

PS - Is this a reman cart? Just because it says Lexmark on the label, that doesn't mean it hasn't been rebuilt. A MICR cart for this machine is expensive and the customer will often times go with a reman cart.

Edit: I looked up the price for a MICR cart for this model: $529.00
