XM3250/ Toshiba e478s red/ blue LED flashing. Dead LVPS?

I have the Toshiba equivalent of an XM3250.

The LCD panel is lit up dull grey but the LEDs below the +/- volume button is flashing red/blue.

A Google search reveals the low voltage power supply might be suspect.

Anyone revolve the issue by replacing the LVPS $165.00 USD?

I have ordered a LVPS to install next week. I have put a temporary loaner in.

If that does not work, I will order a controller board.

I replaced, at high $ cost, the main controller board. This still did not bring the copier back into operating condiition..

There is mention of a 3rd UICC board for the LCD panel.

Sadly, there is another possibility. I had a pinched wire to the operation panel of a Lexie, which took both the operation panel and the main PWB. Fortunately for me I accidentally found the pinched wire while installing the pair of boards. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
                1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
                2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
                3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
                4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
                5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I am wondering if there is some kind of software tool from Lexmark that indicates what bard could be defective.

I have replaced two of three possible boards and have totallly blown the economic cpc profit on ths low volume copier.

The custmer really just wanys something that works so I miight swap out the copier with a Llexmark XM1145 I have for $0.00 cost.

As the boards were purchased from Lexmark Canada, I will explore on Mnday if they will refund the boards.

i have never heard of a software from lexmark that would do that. if you find one, i would be curious to find out more about it.
