Lexmark CW635adwe aka new Toshiba e409CS

The 42 ppm desktop colour A4 MFP has been on the market for about six months.

Does anybody have any experience with it?

We have not sold the XC2335. It is in a spot that we sell below or above becasue the model prior we did not like. This model we would consider but just haven't sold yet.

I think a = adf as models that are dwe only have a lid or are print only. I believe e = ethernet.

I think this model is very similar to the Xerox C315. It is like a smaller XC4140 with a higher but not outrageous cpc.

There are lots of videos and reviews on the Xerox C315. The major theme is not to place these MFPs in locations where the customer is likely to print more than 2,000 pages per month.

... includes both an analog fax and a NIC card so you could be correct.

The Xerox is closer to the Lexmark XC4240. Output was at the rear like and old fax machine. I honestly had to look up instructions to get to the toners and I have been doing this a looong time. We orderd one, sold it and never ordered another. If the customer needed a manual feed tray they had to get a second "duo" 650 sheet tray for about $200.00 retail which brought it's price very close to the XC4140.

Upon closer review the externals of the Toshiba e409CS are not like any Xerox color A4 model that I can find. The internals are very similar. I think that is a good thing.

The closest Lexmark BSD model that I can find is the XC2335 but the Toshiba at 40 ppm is a step above that. I researched the Lexmark Partnernet website and there is no equivalent model.

There is no equivalent Sharp model.

So for the time being Toshiba has something unique that it shares with the white label CW635 adwe.
