I need to replace the backup shaft assembly in a Lexmark C782. I primarily work on HP and Canon machines but I have one C782 on the contract. My question is "how best to remove the old shaft and install the new one. The diagrams in the service manual show me where it's located but no removal/replacement instructions. Is it necessary to remove the printer and tray 1 in order to get to the duplexer? If you have instructions and wish to email them you can send them to Michael.joseph@ssi-anc.com.
