Hi there, apologies if this has been on here before, (I did perform a search for it) but ... can somebody explain the difference between the above OKI machines. They, look identical, offer the same capabilities etc. IThe reason for the enquiry is that I need a new fuser unit for my C9650 and the prices I hvae seen are almost double for the 9650 compared to the ES range. Will the ES range work in my 9650 and vice versa. Even worse is that the xerox phaser transfer belt and fuser unit is far cheaper for, the OKI equivalent even though Xerox construct them. I take it this wont work either

You can use it.
Just verify the intake ramp (might be slightly different), but you can interchange that.
I don't remember now. not big deal. -

Thanks very much ... when you say "intake ramp", do you mean the paper path into the fuser?Comment

Re: OKI c9650 and ES 3640 / ES 9410
Thanks for the help. I can confirm ... YES the fuser from the ES 3640 / 9410 works perfectly in my oki c9650. This despite several OKI dealers saying it wouldn't. Plus, the ES fuser was picked up for 70% less money. Worth rememberingComment
