    Dead Dell 1320c printer

    Normally I work on Ricoh Production copy systems so forgive my ignorance.

    One of my accounts has a small Dell 1320c desktop laser printer they want me to look at - It powers up with just the error light flashing. I have no idea where to start diagnosing this thing, and I'm not even sure its worth fixing. Any help would be appreciated.

      I've never worked on one, but it sounds like it needs a drum cartridge: Error ! is constantly flashing, - FixYa

      Probably not worth spending much time on - it's a $300 printer.

      Nothing like handing a customer a bill for more than what they paid for the silly thing!

          Probably right, but some goofy salesperson sold them a contract to maintain all their laser printers, so my options are to fix it or swap it out with a much larger and more robust Ricoh printer that's probably way more than they need.
